The Vinakar Beauty Pageant is designed to empower individuals, fostering talent and boosting confidence through fair judgment. Held biennially at the state level, winners progress to the national stage. Proceeds from this event directly support weavers and handcraft artisans, creating a meaningful impact on their lives. Our inaugural show debuted on September 9th, 2023, in Sacramento, California, and we eagerly anticipate expanding to six more states before the grand finale in 2024.
Vinakar Fashion Shows emphasize showcasing designer collections, predominantly handcrafted from loom materials. We aim to highlight the beauty of handiwork and provide a platform for passionate models, irrespective of body shape or age, to walk the ramp. Our commitment is to embrace and celebrate the artistry of both designers and models while making a positive difference in the lives of weavers.
